With Love from Tasman – A Poem to Inspire and Renew

## TIME

## Tick Tok, Tick Tok

Why study the hands of a clock

Time passed, measured minute by minute, through physical motion

It’s not a silly notion

Made relevant by you and me

But what about a tree

Standing proud and tall

Withstanding nature’s all

For decades, even centuries, anchored deeply in mother earth

Time passed, measured only by rings, creating the width of its’s girth

Dear one your point is well taken

Preoccupation with time measured, can lead to you being badly mistaken

Tic Tok must do this

Tic Tok no time for that

Creating a life of scarcity and limitation, always time poor

With the promise of joy. firmly out of reach

Forever, separated behind time’s locked door

But in truth, how valuable can time be

When viewed through the lense of eternity

When. knowing the true nature of the being, that is the you, and the me

There is only one absolute certainty

You will experience life, as a forever being, from now to eternity

For we are one, we are one, we two

Transcendent of all limitation

Timeless through and through
