Giving Thanks

Dear Lord, thank you, for this gift, so lovingly given

I accept, that from the force of universal creation, it is driven

In this moment, I am the beneficiary, of creation’s abundance

The source of all my sustenance

From this recognition, I acknowledge my responsibility

To consume consciously, with gratitude and piety

And in return, to joyfully give back

Safe, in the knowledge, that within creation’s divine design

There is no lack

For we are one, we are one, we two

One unified expression of the divine love and compassion, that is you

Amen
