From Tasman with Love – A poem to Inspire and Renew

Dream

I am aware of the pillow under my head.

And the warmth of the blanket as I lay on my bed.

Darkness surrounds me, I sense the still.

As I lay, time loosens its grip, I am at peace, my world reset to nil.

Heavy and loose, free of all need for action and thought, I lose all will.

Freedom at last, escaping the busy, forever climbing that loathsome hill.

Now I’m alive, immersed in a reality so compelling and new, I drink it all in, I have my fill.

Where does this come from? Does it carry great meaning?

Is it important? or, am I just dreaming?

Well, dear one, these questions you ask.

Have been asked by all the generations past.

All seeking an understanding to the spells that dreams cast.

Dreams can take you to so many different places.

From the beautiful to the terrible, they show you realities, with completely different faces.

Brought forth from the vastness of creation’s potential, to ignite your creative power.

To birth the new, like the blossoming of a new season flower

Made perfect and complete, you carry my eternal spark.

Destined, forever to manifest, in the day’s light and in the night’s dark.

For we are one, we are one, we two.

Partners in creation, for the evolution of me, by the manifesting of you

And so, it is
